The family's dedication and perseverance to make it the best food service and produce company in Laredo, Texas, is a tribute to its founder-Ricardo Cavazos, The King of Produce. At the early age of 13 years old, Ricardo worked at his father's produce company. Eager to learn the intricacies of the produce business, he immersed himself into learning all about working with produce brokers throughout the country, thus bringing to Laredo quality produce at affordable prices. Not one to shy away from hard work, he had a dream to open up his own food service and produce business. On March, 2007, Ricardo's lifelong dream became a reality with the opening of R.C. Food Service and Produce, Inc.

Ricardo, his wife Alma and children, Rick and Monica have a combined work experience in the food service and produce industry of over 100 years. With this wealth of knowledge and experience, they are able to navigate through the different brokers and vendors for the products you want. Moreover, because they believe in partnering with the best and most ethical companies, they are able to bring customers an array of produce and food service products from throughout the country as well from international companies.

R.C. Food Service and Produce, Inc. is ready to meet the food service and produce needs of the communities of Laredo, Zapata, and Eagle Pass. It is pleased to be providers for such facilities as school lunch programs, restaurants, grocery stores, government agencies, and ail Institutions providing meals.
